The water is filtered and passed through ultraviolet light until it emerges clear and odorless. It is then stored in a 1000-gallon tank and used to irrigate the Artesian’s drought-tolerant landscaping. Recycling allows us to cut our water usage by about 30% and gets us closer to achieving our goal of net-zero water usage.
