How Should You Prepare for a Visit?

Bringing favorite objects such as scrapbooks and photos are good options for spending time together or you may choose to play a familiar game. Creating positive interactions that do not cause agitation or discomfort should be the goal.
Does Medicare Pay for Memory Care?
Unfortunately, Medicare does not pay for memory care services in an assisted living community. Medicare A does cover inpatient hospital care or related services, qualified skilled nursing care, or hospice care. Medicare B covers outpatient services like home health care or physical and occupational therapy. It’s important to understand what your Medicare plan covers so you can access services which fit into your budget.
